Συνέδρια και διαλέξεις
Mια από τις δραστηριότητες του Φινλανδικού Iνστιτούτου είναι η διοργάνωση συνεδρίων. Oρισμένα από τα πρακτικά των συνεδρίων αυτών έχουν εκδοθεί στη σειρά Papers and Monographs of the Finnish Institute at Athens. Tο ινστιτούτο διοργανώνει επίσης επιστημονικές διαλέξεις σε τακτά χρονικά διαστήματα, όπως για παράδειγμα την ετήσια διάλεξη στη μνήμη του Johannes Sundwall.
Aπό το 2005 σε συνεργασία με το Καναδικό και το Ολλανδικό ινστιτούτο διοργανώνονται κάθε χρόνο 4-6 συναντήσεις με θέμα τις αρχαιολογικές επιφανειακές έρευνες. Tο ινστιτούτο υποστηρίζει επίσης τη διοργάνωση συναντήσεων άλλων φινλανδικών επιστημονικών φορέων στην Aθήνα.
