The Research Centre for the Humanities (RCH) has initiated a new international transdisciplinary research project called NORMED, in collaboration with the Danish Institute at Athens, the Finnish Institute at Athens, The Norwegian Institute at Athens, and the Swedish Institute at Athens. This project is focused on gaining a deeper insight into modern and contemporary European history by exploring it from the perspective of two of its constitutive regions, namely the Nordic/Baltic region and the Mediterranean.
More information about the project can be found at: https://www.rchumanities.gr/en/normed-about/
The inaugural seminar for NORMED will take place on Thursday, April 11th, featuring Mogens Pelt, Associate Professor of International History at The Saxo Institute, University of Copenhagen who’ll be having a lecture on “Becoming small: the case of Denmark and the Imperative of the Regional (1814-1945)”.
